Informativa sulla privacy

Dip è un'app per organizzare eventi, sondaggi e ricorrenze in piccoli gruppi di amici. Questa informativa spiega quali dati tratta, perché, dove sono conservati e come puoi esercitare i tuoi diritti (Regolamento UE 2016/679, «GDPR»).

Quali dati trattiamo

Account: l'identificativo che Apple o Google ci danno quando accedi, il nome e l'indirizzo email che condividono (con Apple può essere un indirizzo anonimo), la lingua e il fuso orario del telefono.
Quello che crei e condividi: gruppi e partecipazioni, richieste di adesione, eventi, sondaggi e voti, risposte agli eventi (RSVP), ricorrenze, le notifiche che ricevi e le tue impostazioni.
Dispositivo: il token per le notifiche push di ogni telefono su cui usi Dip.
Log tecnici: per ogni richiesta, l'ora, l'esito, gli identificativi interni e l'indirizzo IP; se l'app si blocca, una segnalazione d'errore. I log non contengono nomi, email, titoli né contenuti.

Non usiamo pubblicità, tracciamento o profilazione, e non vendiamo né cediamo dati.

Perché e su quale base

Per fornirti il servizio che hai chiesto (art. 6.1.b GDPR): accesso, gruppi, eventi, sondaggi, notifiche.
Per tenere Dip sicuro e funzionante (legittimo interesse, art. 6.1.f): log tecnici e segnalazioni d'errore.

Dove sono i dati e chi li tratta per noi

Hostinger (Lituania): il server, nell'Unione europea.
Scaleway (Francia): i backup cifrati, a Parigi.
Expo (650 Industries, USA): inoltra le notifiche push ad Apple e Google. Riceve il testo della notifica e il token del dispositivo.
Apple e Google: l'accesso con il loro account; Apple (APNs) e Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) consegnano le notifiche.

Expo, Apple e Google possono trattare dati fuori dall'UE, con le garanzie previste dal GDPR (Data Privacy Framework UE-USA o clausole contrattuali standard).

Per quanto tempo

I dati dell'account restano finché non lo elimini.
I log tecnici vengono cancellati dopo 30 giorni.
I backup notturni del database vengono cancellati man mano: l'ultimo esce dopo circa 6 mesi.

Eliminare l'account

Puoi eliminare l'account dall'app in qualsiasi momento. L'eliminazione è immediata e completa: spariscono i tuoi dati, quello che hai creato e le tue risposte e i tuoi voti. Se hai fatto l'accesso con Apple, revochiamo anche l'accesso di Dip al tuo ID Apple. I backup già fatti invecchiano fino a sparire (circa 6 mesi), e se mai dovessimo ripristinarne uno, un registro delle eliminazioni (che contiene solo un identificativo interno e la data) fa sì che il tuo account venga eliminato di nuovo subito.

I tuoi diritti

Puoi chiedere l'accesso, la rettifica, la cancellazione e la portabilità dei tuoi dati, la limitazione del trattamento, e puoi opporti al trattamento basato sul legittimo interesse. Per una copia dei tuoi dati in formato JSON scrivi a giordy.rossi@gmail.com: rispondiamo entro un mese. Puoi anche presentare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Età minima

Dip non è pensata per chi ha meno di 14 anni.

Modifiche

Se questa informativa cambia, la data in alto cambia con lei; per modifiche importanti ti avviseremo nell'app.

Privacy policy

Dip is an app for organising events, polls and anniversaries in small groups of friends. This policy explains what data it handles, why, where it's kept and how you can use your rights (EU Regulation 2016/679, the "GDPR").

What data we handle

Account: the identifier Apple or Google gives us when you sign in, the name and email address they share (with Apple this can be a private relay address), and your phone's language and time zone.
What you create and share: groups and memberships, join requests, events, polls and votes, event replies (RSVPs), anniversaries, the notifications you receive and your settings.
Device: the push notification token of each phone you use Dip on.
Technical logs: for each request, the time, the outcome, internal identifiers and the IP address; if the app crashes, an error report. Logs never contain names, emails, titles or content.

We don't use advertising, tracking or profiling, and we never sell or hand over data.

Why, and on what basis

To provide the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): sign-in, groups, events, polls, notifications.
To keep Dip secure and working (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)): technical logs and error reports.

Where the data is, and who handles it for us

Hostinger (Lithuania): the server, in the European Union.
Scaleway (France): encrypted backups, in Paris.
Expo (650 Industries, USA): forwards push notifications to Apple and Google. It receives the notification text and the device token.
Apple and Google: sign-in with their accounts; Apple (APNs) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) deliver notifications.

Expo, Apple and Google may handle data outside the EU, under the safeguards the GDPR provides (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

How long

Account data stays until you delete your account.
Technical logs are deleted after 30 days.
Nightly database backups are deleted as they age: the last one goes after about 6 months.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. Deletion is immediate and complete: your data, what you created, and your replies and votes all go. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Dip's access to your Apple ID. Backups already taken age out (about 6 months), and if we ever restore one, a deletion log (holding only an internal identifier and the date) deletes your account again straight away.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict its processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. For a copy of your data as JSON, email giordy.rossi@gmail.com: we answer within a month. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Minimum age

Dip isn't meant for anyone under 14.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it; for important changes we'll tell you in the app.
